Work In Progress

Forgive the messy and non-cohesive state of the blog right now. After a nine month leave of absence I decided some housekeeping was necessary and I decided to take on the task myself rather than hirer a designer. It's a slow process, but it'll get done eventually and will look ah-mah-zing.

Operation: Love ReUnited

I received an email not that long ago about a program called Operation: Love ReUnited. This program, which is for deploying, deployed, and returning military families, offers these families and their soldiers free photo sessions with a professional photographer in their area. As a gift of appreciation, each family will then receive a 4x6 photo album filled with the photos taken during their session. The album is automatically mailed to the soldier who is deployed at no cost to the family.

I am super excited about this program and have already contacted a photographer in our area that participates, so we can have pictures taken while Stonewall is home on Christmas leave. Already she had been contacted by other military families in the area who are deploying with Stonewall's battalion.

If you are a military family already in the middle of a deployment or you know one is coming up fast, go to the website Oplove.org to get more information about Operation: Love ReUnited and to find a photographer in your area.
