Forgive the messy and non-cohesive state of the blog right now. After a nine month leave of absence I decided some housekeeping was necessary and I decided to take on the task myself rather than hirer a designer. It's a slow process, but it'll get done eventually and will look ah-mah-zing.

Biggest Mistake: No Air Conditioning
When we bought our house we weren't really concerned that it had no air conditioning. We figured we would just use window units.
We went 5 years here without air conditioning... no window unit either. Just after the first baby, we put it in, and I have no idea how we did it before! ugh.
I grew up in a home with no AC. My Ma finally decided to get window units in my Sophmore year at high school but with the humidity steady increasing it is almost pointless! It is horrid. I feel for you my love, I really do. Dealing with that growing up that was a definite "maker-breaker" deal when we went house shopping. People kept giving me looks-like I could live without it and I always said: HA, those who use that phrase have never lived without it!
Eat extra popscicles love! Hope it cools off soon!
oh no.... I feel your pain, living with no AC at the moment myself... in Texas... in the summer!! Thankfully though it's a shaded place but geeze. Fans, go get lots of fans!!!
